"Remembrance of the Primeval Sea" is an original burning picture by Thomas Girbl from the series "Pyrographic Landscapes." The work evokes the first sea to ever touch a shore. Sand embedded in deep cobalt blue merges with flowing layers of pigment to create a surface reminiscent of sediments, ripples, and geological formations. Unlike many works in the series, this image deliberately avoids burn marks and is imbued with a calm, meditative energy. The almost transparent signature, liquefied by fire, acts like a personal seal—a silent trace of the artist in the flow of time and origin.

Returns are possible within 14 days of receipt.
The buyer bears the costs for return shipping.

The artwork must be returned securely, preferably in its original packaging and in the same condition. For international returns, any customs duties or import fees are also the responsibility of the buyer.

The works are created through an experimental process using fire, pigments, and natural materials. Each piece is personally developed and crafted by the artist.

This results in a unique work whose surface and structure visibly preserve the traces of its creation process.
