Solidified Fire is part of Thomas Girbl's Pyrographic Landscapes series. The work explores the paradox of fire solidifying into form – energy transformed into structure.
Layered monochrome pigments combine with controlled burn marks to create a surface reminiscent of cooled lava and mineral crusts. The texture appears both eruptive and still – like an explosion frozen at its peak intensity.
Here, destruction becomes preservation: the flame remains visible as a structure, as a memory, as a material trace. A work for collectors who appreciate archaic power and timeless presence.

Shipping time

Transport damage

Returns are possible within 14 days of receipt.
The buyer bears the costs for return shipping.
The artwork must be returned securely, preferably in its original packaging and in the same condition. For international returns, any customs duties or import fees are also the responsibility of the buyer.
Production
The works are created through an experimental process using fire, pigments, and natural materials. Each piece is personally developed and crafted by the artist.
This results in a unique work whose surface and structure visibly preserve the traces of its creation process.
